Field Status:

Coaches use their own judgement to determine whether fields are playable

FOR GRASS FIELDS, Coaches are asked to refrain from using any in-town or BOE field until they are dry and declared ready for play. It is our PRIVILEGE to use these fields, NOT our RIGHT- please respect this privilege and use your best judgment- for the kids as well as the fields.

Always check here for updates, including weather related cancellations.

General Information

Please be reminded that NO DOGS are allowed on board of education or the turf fields. This message isn't consistently posted at each field but needs to be respected- thanks for your cooperation!

Also please keep our fields clean. Take all your water bottles with you when you leave the field. Clean up after your team, and, if necessary, your opponent. Better yet, encourage the kids to take pride in their fields and clean up after themselves. We all represent the Westfield Lacrosse Club.

Coaches and trainers should report field areas in need of repair to:

Lightning Advisory System

Some, but not all fields are equipped with lightning alarms. All players, coaches, and parents must clear the fields immediately when lightning is detected. Fields must be cleared if lightning or thunder is observed, even if the alarm does not sound.

Field Directions

See the Fields list on the sidebar. Our club plays on the in-town fields listed in the Westfield section.  Most of the away fields are also listed there as well.  If not, please 1.) check with your coach, or 2.) visit the website of the team you are traveling to.
